Celebrate the end of the summer with the annual Arthur J. Ladrigan Swim Races and Family Fun Day at Bayley Beach.

This is an event is comprised of three races:

1 mile Lighthouse Race • 1/4 mile Buoy Race • Children’s Swim Races

The Arthur J. Ladrigan Swim Race is roughly a 1-mile swim for advanced swimmers only from Green’s Ledge Lighthouse to shore. Check-in for Lighthouse Race swimmers and their kayak escorts will start at 8am. Boats Take Swimmers to Lighthouse and Buoy: 9:00am. Race Start: 9:30am. No online registration available. Please plan to register and sign waiver form on race day between 8:00-8:45am. $20 registration fee.

The Buoy Race is a 1/4 mile swim from the buoy back to shore and is for advanced swimmers only. $20 registration fee.

The Children’s Swim Races are grouped by age and run parallel to the beach. Free of charge.

NOTE: ALL 1 MILE SWIMMERS MUST HAVE A KAYAK ESCORT

(NO STAND UP PADDLES). ESCORTS MUST BE 14+ Y/O. NO EXCEPTIONS!

SWIMMER & KAYAK ESCORT MUST BOTH FILL OUT WAIVER.
